12/27/2023 0 Comments Unleash your inner sparkle meaning![]() ![]() I have had plenty of jobs that give me so much joy and love, but I could never support myself on them, partially because everything in child care has a lower pay rate, but also because I don’t have that piece of paper saying that some classroom-trapped professor taught me the theories behind the tactics I taught myself to implement in the workplace to keep a happy and caring environment. ![]() I feel as though because my degree is getting put on hold my entire life has come to almost a comedic, slam-into-the-wall halt because nearly everything these days depends on your having that good ‘ol piece of paper. What does it mean to be an adult?-cuz I sure as hell don’t feel like one! Sure, I paid my rent, can look over/pay part of tuition, tackle medical nonsense, go head-to-head with the insurance company, and keep the house clean, but all that overwhelms me and so I make a fort and curl up inside with my favorite computer game, movie, or current art project. On the way to college, it always seemed like you were going to be in the real world and life would be so different and grown up, but now that I’m here, I feel as if I’m stuck in a perpetual game of limbo, going round and round that stupid pole, only no one is lower the bar to raise the stakes the game is forever stuck in the same level of awkwardly not adulthood, but also more than high school senior status.įor some of us around this age, the most frustrating things seem to manifest in the age of legal drinking, when you can rent a car by yourself, and just before that lies the argument of the ability to go to war and get married but the non-ability to drink.įor me, these terms were never really how I saw my adulthood measured, especially now since I’m 23, moved back in with my parents, and about to make a big decision about the little bit of school I do have left. I have a history of considerable medical problems which have ended up blocking my way to the finish line to my degree. I have yet to graduate from college even though I’ve been working on my degree since 2009. LOVE – the most attractive and sparkly people I know are those who understand that love is a verb.Fill your life with these things in balanced amounts. Sparklers need rest, good food, rewarding work, exercise, fun, love and friendship. FIND BALANCE – without balance your sparkle will lose its shine.You, having fun and being real releases the inner sparkle! Salsa, rock climbing, gardening, pottery, writing, cycling, cooking, eating, talking – it doesn’t matter what you do, it just matters that you enjoy it. DO WHAT YOU LOVE AND DO IT FOR FUN! Find things you enjoy doing and crack on with them.How you do it doesn’t matter, just being present with yourself is the point because when you are connected to yourself you start to relax more into yourself. You can do this on a walk, or through a 5-minute meditation, or listening to music, or journalling. START connecting with yourself on a daily basis.You’re both amazing, in your own unique ways. You’d never compare the Eiffel Tower to the Grand Canyon so stop comparing you to another person. STOP comparing yourself to others and start concentrating on being truly you.Your inner sparkle is unique and you’ll know you’ve found it when you feel like you are flowing through life, connecting easily with people, and generally attracting positive things into your world. Why? Because it’s the real you and that’s what’s always most attractive. ![]() Your inner sparkle is THE ONLY sparkle you should be interested in showing to the world. ![]()
